where warning signs should be mandatory

There are some times in life where I wish I could predict the future and this afternoon was definitely one of those times where I wish I had that ability. Me and my friend Megan decided to cut this week short and miss a day of classes to go to home this weekend because our friend Lindsey is getting married tomorrow. We left around 2:30 in the afternoon and it usually takes us about two hours to get home. We figured we would get home right before rush hour hit but because there is literally construction EVERYWHERE on the freeway plus the combination of bad Utah drivers, we ended up hitting traffic as soon as it was picking up.

It literally looked like this....

...bumper to bumper traffic. Talk about the worst buzz kill for a quick roadtrip home. Because the traffic was so bad today because of construction plus rush hour, it took us twice as long to get home. That's FOUR HOURS instead of TWO. If Utah's traffic gets this bad during rush hour, I can't even imagine rush hour traffic in downtown LA.
