I do not know why but lately I have been thinking a lot about this one book. I have never been a big reader besides reading gossip magazines and reading the assigned books you are supposed to do in school. But other than that, I hardly ever read.
Until a few years ago, I heard about this book called A Million Little Pieces. It captivated me from the very first sentence. It is about a twenty-three year old man who struggles from alcohol and drug addictions and how he is forced to check into a rehab clinic and undergoes through a series of agonizing pain while trying to quit. Throughout the novel, it talks a lot about the "fury" that the main character goes through while trying to quit his addiction.
Even though I am not addicted to something as serious as Alcohol or Drugs, this book really spoke loud to me and made me realize the fury I uphold with my own set of addictions and how I can get rid of them. If you ever want a good read, you have to read A Million Little Pieces. I am about to start reading it for the third time as well as pick up on more reading (along with the short gossip columns in cosmo).
