There are some days where you cannot help what happens. Luck is not on your side and things do not go as planned. From the second you woke up, you already knew you were on the wrong side of the bed and it was all downhill from there. Somedays you just have that gut feeling that that day will not be your brightest of days. Things will happen that will tear your faith down. People will say things that will
close off that light in your eyes.
close off that light in your eyes.
Everyday there are things, whether they be large or small, that will eat away at you. And unfortunately, it seems as if each coming day of growing older, the more you have thrown at you. But it is the way you look at the trials in life and the way you handle it. Will you be strong and go through with a smile or will you stay motionless
and give up with a pout on your face?
I realized life is my biggest enemy and my best friend. The biggest fight I will ever be in. The largest storm I will ever go through. The sharpest thorn I will ever touch. There are days where you will wake up at the wrong side of the bed. There are days where all you want to do is fall asleep and be in your perfect dreamworld. There are days where you wish and pray things will look brighter for you but it just never seems to come. There are days where you lose that hope and light in your eyes for just a few split seconds.
As depressing as it may sounds it is what it is. If you have good than you need the bad that comes with it. But I have come to realize through the bad, how good my life really is. With every gray day comes a brighter tomorrow. With every failure comes strength. With every fall bruise, cut or break comes a memory. A memory that never fades away and because of that, you are more aware. With every tear their comes a blessing in disguise.
There's a saying that says, "Count Your Blessings" and along with that, I created my own saying by telling myself to "Count Your Trials" because through them, you will be forever blessed. You may wake up on the wrong side of the bed one morning but at least you now know not to sleep on that side of the bed or choose a different place to sleep the next night. There is always something to learn through a hardship. So the next time you realize you're the one that is grumpy, realize that through that emotion you learn a lesson, learn of yourself, others and learn from experience. You're going to have bad days; that's life. I always just tell myself to suck it up and move on with it 'cause it will only make me that much stronger, smarter and better.
