[Day two of 'The Fourteen Days of Thankfulness']
I am thankful that I live in a place where I am surrounded by beauty.
Ever since I was young, I loved to climb on top of tables, trees, stairs and anything I could wrap my arms and legs around. Now that I am older, I use it all on hiking, rock climbing and repelling and I have to admit it has
become quite an obsession of mine.
Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter, I will try and find a way to do something outdoors and Utah just so happens to be a perfect place for a girl like me. I am thankful I live in a place where I can travel five minutes from my home and find the most incredible waterfalls or travel three hours and find myself
rock climbing on red rock and sand.
"You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness
of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful.
What you'll discover is yourself."
I live for the outside World. It is how I get away, where I have time for myself, where I can enjoy God's creations and find peace. It is a chance for me to get in shape rather than sitting in a closed room full of sweaty men and women. It is a chance for me to take a break from reality and live in a World full of pure bliss. So thank you God, for creating such an incredible and beautiful World.
