Ever had one of those days where you don't want it to end.
Where you find yourself staying up for no reason at all
becuase you know if you fell asleep, that perfect day will be over.
Today was one of those perfect days, not only because it was Christmas, but because of what went on behind the scenes.

This year, Christmas was a little different. A good different. What happened today caught me by surprise and could possibly be, one of those Christmas's that I will hold near and dear. Why do you ask? Let me explain.

This morning I witnessed the purest form of love within a family. A love between family members that is so strong, I couldn't help but bawl like a helpless little baby. This afternoon I witnessed truth. A reassuring truth that Christ is and always will be my saving grace, my mediotor, friend, brother, teacher and life-savor. That through Him, we can, and will live, a successful life full of happiness and love

Tonight I witnessed humility. Humility for the power a family posesses. The amount of love a parent, as well as God, has for their children.

I woke up this morning not expecting anything and in the end, I received more than everything. Santa did me more than good this year. Christ answered every single one of my prayers and my parents have done more than enough. But most importantly, I am so blessed to be able to spend time with my family this Christmas day. To be in their presence and feel of their love, is more than enough for Christmas. Stuffing our faces with pounds of chocolates, laughing at mum's attempt to hide her face during the fight scene in Warrior, cuddling up next to the fake fire while listening to Celin Dion's Christmas mix, and expressing through tears and expressions of memories and gratitude we have for one another is what I will remember this Christmas. Thank you mum and dad for the most amazing Christmas any child could ever have. You out-did yourselves this year and I love you all.

And to our Heavenly Father, thank you for sacrificing your son, Jesus Christ, and letting him be born into this World. Without him, there would be no us. There would be no sense of truth, love, hope, charity, and eternity. Thank you to our Savior, Jesus Christ, who taught us everything we need to know. Who died and gave up his life for us, through his Atonement, that we can have second chances. I love the meaning behind Christmas and all that it stands for, and I hope you all found yourselves reminiscing over the true meaning of Christmas.
