the folks of all folk

Tonight was one of those nights where time seemed effortless.
I was able to make some decent cash at the job today in a small amount of time and managed to make it on-time to a local showing of some good folk music. Some here like to call it, the battle of the bands. Those of you who are uneducated with the local band-scene that is thrown here in good old P-town,
all the musical magic happens at a place we call Velour.

A place where the art of music is performed and where music can be art.

Bands such as Neon Trees, The Fictionist, Isaac Russell and Desert Noises play on this very stage and have made it into the professional music scene and tonight, I may have witnessed some rising stars that call themselves Brady Parks and The Indianns (yes, they spell Indian with two "n's").

If you have heard and liked music from Desert Noises and Isaac Russell, you will love Brady Parks and The Indianns. Or to make it simple for you, if you enjoy some good folk music and amazing keyboard and violin action, this is for you so click here to give yourself a little sample.

Anyways, they ended up winning battle of the bands tonight and get
to play again this Saturday, the 10th of December
if any of you would like to tag along with me.
