an unexpected tuesday

You know those nights when things don't go as planned and everything just seems to fall apart. That happened to be on of those nights. But it wasn't one of those nights that ended up being an epic failure but rather one of those momentous nights you will probably look back on for months ahead.

It started off great watching an intense game of Bulls vs. Hawks in the NBA finals and I was feeling pretty good knowing that my man, Derek Rose, showed his game tonight and came out with a victorious win. That alone would make anyone's night start off with a bang.

For everyone that lives in Provo and knows me, they know that Tuesday nights back home are the nights I look forward to because of one special occasion..... Karaoke Night at Applebees Restaurant. I mean, who wouldn't enjoy cheap appetizers while seeing people making fools out of themselves up on stage. Some of my best memories come from Karaoke Night. But anyways, enough about my rambling....

I was planning out my night perfectly. Birthday dinner, Karaoke night then a relaxing fire at a friends but instead, the dinner plans were cancelled and interfered with Karaoke night and the fire. Sadly enough, I had to bail out. Then, while waiting for our table at Applebee's, some of my friends like to arrive fashionably late and because of that, our table was given away to another party. So change of plans.... we went to Chili's and it possibly may have been the best decision out of the worst case scenario. The reason being is because I have these two amazing friends......

                                 Casey Cook                           Jentry Hatch

They can always make me laugh.

For example, tonight at Chili's our waitor (who had a fantastic smile), came over and asked, "is everything tasting okay?" Jentry (with a mouthful of cheesecake) said with a moan, "ahhh yes, this is perfect" ... along with her eyes shut in a dreamful state. Everyone then froze and realized how awkward of a situation it was and our poor waitor just said, "well um... I will let you and your cheesecake alone and be back later." It was one of those 'you had to be there moments' and need to realize the personality of Jentry. Ah, I just love that girl. The entire night ended up being a bust but the most relaxed nights and most fun I have had in a while. I love when you can just sit at a restaurant with some of your best friends just laughing for hours about absolutely nothing on top with ha friend on pain killers because they just had knee surgery.

I couldn't ask for better friends.

PS. Birthday shout-outs to Landon ChristensenMcKlendon Rockwell and Travis Wing.
 I Love You All
