If a genie appeared at my front door and asked me for one wish, my wish would be:
To Be At Lake Powell
This beautiful place is my paradise away from home. I know it is not some California beach or some exotic resort off the coast of the Caribbean but
Lake Powell is paradise in my eyes.
For those of you who have had the chance to take a trip down to this beautiful Lake full of red rock, you know what I am talking about.
No place on Earth can ever bring you the full affect of boating, camping, hiking, rock climbing, waterfalls, wildlife and that perfect Summer tan. Lake Powell is a little piece of Heaven that God gave to mankind.
Every year I have to go to Lake Powell at least once, whether it is with my family or friends. It is easily one of my family's favorite vacations we take out of the year. Last year, I was in Lake Powell around this time and I am really craving some of that hot sticky sunlight, red sand and an ice cream cone from
Rainbow Bridge Arena right about now.
Rainbow Bridge Arena right about now.
And for my friends that keep going to Lake Powell without me and posting pictures up on Facebook about it, please stop. I don't think I can handle anymore. My jealousy has already reached its peak. And as for Lake Powell, our time will come when you and I will meet again whether it be in the next couple of weeks or in a month.
I will be with you this Summer.
I will be with you this Summer.
