This past week, I have had to expect the unexpected.
I've had one of those "take it by ear" kind of weeks to where whatever goes, goes.
I made plans, but for some reason, those plans fell through.
But there's a reason for it all and a reason to be in the places you are at the same time.
Here's a couple of stories...
Last Sunday, I went to a dessert party when I swore to myself that I would never show my face around those people again. But for some reason, nothing was stopping me. I met up with one of my best guy friends that I hadn't seen for a while and since day one, he and I have been on the same wavelength. The type of spiritual wavelength ( if you know what I mean ) and I had some things running through my mind and he just felt the urge to say some things that eased my thoughts.
Or how about the other night when I was asked to go to the USA championship to see if they are qualified for the world cup this next year but for some reason, I said no.... to the biggest game of the year; and twenty minutes later, my best friend shows up at my doorstep in tears needing some comfort.
There's a time and place for everything.
A reason why people come and go and reasons why you do the things you do
(even if we may not know the answer most of the time)
There's chances that come up unexpectedly that we may not even realize.
But let me tell you something, if you go day-by-day by listening to your intuition, you won't be as shocked when the unexpected comes. In fact, you'll be expecting those unexpected moments and will be grateful they came. For they are the moments that bring that sunshine in your day, that smile on your face and that little thought in your head when you hit the pillow at night thinking, "it's been a good day."
