"The hushed"

This one goes out to "the hushed." Those who have been told to "man up",

those who have been

                                    bullied, 

                                      hurt,

                                        raped, 

                                          abused,

                                            neglected, 

                                              assaulted, 

                                                diminished.

Those who have kept quiet, and been told to keep quiet. 

This one goes out to the kids who are made fun of, manipulated, and left out.

This one is for all those 

who are trying to find their voice 

to stand up for themselves.

 If you have been abused, 

neglected, taken advantage of, or silenced:

This one is for you to know that you are not alone. 

This one is for "the hushed"- 

in hopes that we may each find our voice and put an end to this madness. 

We have the power to fight back. We are not victims, rather survivors.
